Please be advised effective April 20th, 2024, until March 22nd, 2025, the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos in Mexico will be undergoing renovations to enhance guest experience.
The renovation works will be scheduled as follows therefore the following services will be closed:
Construction work will only take place from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the following dates:
• April 20, 2024 – October 12, 2024: Fitness Center
Construction is taking place on a new Fitness Center and no disruption is anticipated for guests as the old fitness center will remain open for use.
• May 23, 2024 – September 28, 2024: Cortez Restaurant
Cortez restaurant will be closed, and noise and dust should be expected.
• May 23, 2024 – September 30, 2024: The Business Center
The Business Center in the lobby will be open but guests can expect noise and dust (from 9AM to 6PM) as a new Business Center and Lobby Bar are being built within the main lobby.
• June 01, 2024 – March 22, 2025: Tower B
Tower B will be completely closed as 232 rooms and bathrooms are fully renovated. Although these rooms are out of inventory, we expect heavy noise in the first nine weeks. A portion of the rooms will be released into inventory by December 2024.
• May 23, 2024 – December 20, 2024: The Water Park
The Water Park will be closed.
• September 3, 2024 – February 22, 2025: The Convention Center
The convention center foyer will be expanded and there will be dust and noise. Events and weddings are being rescheduled but leisure guests should not be affected. Breakout rooms will be closed on specific dates during this time.
• June 1, 2024 – December 15, 2024: Bar Coco Loco
Pool snack bar Coco Loco will be under construction. Noise and dust are expected but snacks and drinks will still be offered poolside.
• June 1, 2024 – December 15, 2024: Zaffiro Restaurant
While Zaffiro—the Italian restaurant—will be closed. Italian cuisine will be available at the Cortez restaurant during this time.
• June 4, 2024 – November 30, 2024: Wedding Showroom
A new Wedding Showroom is being built.
• June 4, 2024 – December 12, 2024: The Teen Club
The Teen Club will be expanded, and it will be closed for guests. Entertainment for all ages will be available around the main pool.
• June 10, 2024 – December 15, 2024: The Kids Club
The Kidz Club will be renovated, and a temporary KidZ Club will open in a meeting room and children’s programming will still be offered during this time.
• July 8, 2024 – November 22, 2024: Preferred Check-in
Preferred Check-in is closed for renovations and available at the front desk.
• July 22, 2024 – December 14, 2024: New Indian Dining
A new Indian dining outlet is being built in the lobby bar area and noise and dust is to be expected.
It’s important to note that these areas listed above will be operating as usual outside of the timeframe listed and will not affect all travelers. Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos will be working diligently to minimize disruptions throughout the renovation period.
