Lost or damaged items

Who do I contact regarding a lost item on my flight?

For any misplaced items onboard your Sunwing Airlines Flight, click here. For all other airlines, please visit their website.

Please report the delay immediately to your airline’s representatives in the baggage hall. If you are unable to do so while at the airport, and travelled with Sunwing Airlines, you can submit your claim in writing within 7 days of your arrival at https://www.sunwing.ca/en/sunwing-cares.

Once you have submitted your claim for lost or damaged luggage, whether at the airport or online, further steps to log your claim are not necessary. Your details are in our system and we will update you as soon as possible. Luggage that is not located within a 30-day period is considered to be lost and you will be able to submit a claim if this happens. We will keep you up to date as we attempt to trace your luggage and advise you if you should submit a lost luggage claim.

Please ensure that your baggage tag is still attached for your claim to be accepted.
